We are proud to be able to provide soccer programs for all ages and skill levels including our Premier Club teams. Premier Club teams are age-appropriate and skill level at the Tier 1,2 & 3 level.

Player Evaluations & Open Roster Opportunities!

We’re excited to welcome all athletes to our upcoming Player Evaluation Sessions as we prepare for the new season!

These sessions are designed to help coaches understand each player’s skills, strengths, and development needs.
All players will be placed on a team — no cuts, no pressure, just a chance to grow and play!

Registration fees are payable upon making a Club team through TeamSnap.

The Outdoor 2026 season tentative start date is  May 1st.

🌟 What Does the Selects FC Program Offer?

Selects FC is part of the EMSA Premier Club Soccer system, offering a high-performance environment for youth players.

  • ⚽ Higher Level of Competition
    Compete at Tier 1, 2, and 3 levels against top clubs in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and St. Albert.
  • 🏆 Pathway to Provincials & Nationals
    Teams have the opportunity to qualify for Provincial and National Championships.
  • 💰 Greater Investment, Greater Return
    Premier Club soccer involves higher operating costs than community leagues. Families should anticipate a greater financial and time commitment.

👶 Age Groups & Development Model

Selects FC teams are formed by single birth years from U8 to U12 to support age-appropriate development.

  • No mixed-age competition like in community leagues
  • Promotes fair play and skill development

📚 Technical Training & Coaching

  • 1 Coach-led Technical Session per Week
  • 10 Tech-led sessions delivered by certified Selects FC Technical Staff
  • Curriculum-based training focused on:
    • Individual Skill Development
    • Tactical Awareness & Style of Play
  • Training Locations:
    • TTC4 Turf Fields
    • Edmonton Soccer Dome
    • South Soccer Centre (Indoor Season)
    • No gym training
  • Coaches are knowledgeable and experienced, supported by:
    • Session plans
    • Instructional videos
    • Selects FC Technical Directors
    • Resources at selectsfc.com

🤝 Player & Family Expectations

  • Full Commitment to all practices, technical sessions, and games
  • Volunteer Requirement: One parent/guardian per player must volunteer 4 hours per season
  • Individual teams may be required to fundraise
  • Adherence to:
    • Club Standards
    • EMSA Parent/Player Code of Conduct
