The EMSA SOUTH is often asked, “Where does our money go?”  The Board of Directors work hard to provide quality programs for our athletes, while focusing on the members money being spent efficiently.  Each year, the Board reviews the income and expenses and approves a budget accordingly.  Members are encouraged to review the Financial Statements at the Annual General Meeting

Below is a list of some of the items that the EMSA SOUTH registration fee covers for all members.

  • Jerseys for both the Community and Competitive teams.  Community U4 to U7 Teams keep their jersey, and community U9-U19 and competitive jerseys are returned at the end of each season.
  • Registration costs, such as online registration, credit card fees
  • Equipment that is shared by the teams and returned to the EMSA SOUTH at the end of the season, such as balls, nets, flags
  • Tournament/Jamboree in the Outdoor Season, which includes Field rentals, medals, referee costs
  • Office costs such as rent, telephone, fax, internet, and website
  • Office Staff Wages and benefits which may include wages for the General Manager, Operations Coordinator, Registrar, Administrative Assistant. Additional staff from time to time to help out during the busy times of the season
