Nothing says thank you better than the smiles on our players’ faces. We want to dedicate a special space for someone who has gone above and beyond to help keep those smiles big and bright, and show our appreciation for going that extra mile.

Tracy Lehman joined MWSA in 2011 as an Age Rep after Coaching for many years. She was our first team to enter EDSA wearing the Select colours and is doing great in Div 2 now. Tracy was always willing to help and do whatever needed to be done!
Roger Pelletier joined MWSA in 2005, holding the positions of Age Director, Community Rep, Community Chair, and Coach. He coached his son in community and Selects and then even coached a couple of teams who didn’t have a parent volunteer willing to step up. Roger is a hard working Age Rep whose always got his teams together and is willing to help others with theirs if needed. Roger can always be found at our Coaches Appreciation events helping out and loves handing out medals to the little ones at our Mini Fest.
Ron Kuban for his many years of service on our board. Ron joined MWSA in 2003, holding the positions of Age Director, Vice President, Tournament Director, Coach.and Referee. He is still playing and being a Referee. He coached his son team through youth and continues to play himself. Ron was vital in the creation of our many policy and procedures, was a big volunteer for the tournaments as well and was always there handing out medals and doing anything else that need to be done.
We were able to recognize the following dedicated volunteers at the 2017 Annual EMSA Award Night.
- AWARD OF MERIT OR MERITORIOS SERVICES AWARD: Darryl Ratcliffe (BSA 2nd VP, U14 & U6 Coach)
Recognizes the efforts of those people who have made a significant contribution to the sport of soccer within EMSA.
Darryl has been a volunteer with Beaumont Soccer for 4 years. He has taken on the role of the 2nd Vice president which bears the responsibility for the technical program and coach mentoring with BSA. Darryl can be found organizing the sessions for BSA and can often be found teaching at a fair number of them. He also finds the time to visit all of Beaumont’s teams at a game or a practice through out the season at least once and regularly keeps in touch with our coaches be email. As well as doing all this for the program at large he also coaches his kids U14 and U6 soccer teams. Darryl is a true asset to Beaumont Soccer going above and beyond as a core volunteer.
2. LIFE TIME MEMBER: Patti Little (Gaming Chair, long time team manager)
This one explains itself. This award cannot be presented to anyone who is actively in our organization at time the award is allocated.
Patti joined the board in 1998 and became our Gaming Chair/Director. She managed and her husband Graeme coached a girls’ team through youth then to adults. They coached their daughter Lee. Patti was a big volunteer for the tournaments as well and was always there handing out medals and doing anything else that need to be done. Even with MS Patti played soccer into her fifties with her husband coaching her there also. Patti has to be one of the nicest ladies we know and deserves this award with total respect from MWSA. We are very sorry to be losing her and wish her success in her future endeavors.
