EMSA South Program – MIGHTY MITES
Involves 18 months to 3 year olds – (parent participation required) (Parents must stay for all sessions)
EMSA South Mighty Mites Soccer is an introduction to the beautiful game of soccer!
Children will be learning in a positive, fun filled environment about the basics of soccer!
Players will be able to learn at their own pace within their ability level in a group setting.
Mighty Mites Soccer is designed to be inclusive for parents to be involved in assisting their kids with their soccer skills & occasionally being able to watch & take in the new skills they’re learning!
Led by Certified EMSA South Trainers
Sessions are 50 minutes long
Held weekly
1 coach & 1 assistant coach for every 12 players
1 coach & 2 assistant coaches for every 13-16 players
Each player will receive their very own EMSA South Mighty Mites Soccer Jersey and shorts!
Provides a pathway for children to move from the Mighty Mites Program to the EMSA South U4, U5 & U7 grassroots program.
Sessions will have structured based delivery for players designed to help them with:
Coordination, Balance & strength all while learning the fundamentals of soccer
Developing quality technique with & without the soccer ball
Assisting with their confidence in a positive learning environment that includes quick explanations and more learning with a ball at their feet.
Program dates: Sunday, May 25, June 1, June 8, June 15, and June 22nd
Program location: Sports TC 9203 35 Ave NW
Time: Noon to 12:50 pm
Fee: $150 includes jersey/shorts
The program will be held indoors. Players need running shoes, labelled water bottles
